Walking into Aquarius and feeling the connection with the Dragon aligns our hearts with our creativity in actions. It’s about finding balance, and most of all, experiencing the joy of putting our hands in the clay. This was the essence of Chambre's participation in a unique design competition for the iconic Gaudí Foundation.
The Chambres Rings represent a fusion of craftsmanship, intention, and co-creation from the heart with Barcelona artist Trinidad Contreras— a testament to Gaudí’s ethos.
The Symbolism of the Chambres Ring
The Chambres Ring embodies the symbolic meaning of the number 3, as the synthesis of two creators’ intentions echoes the unified work in Gaudí. Each ring is uniquely sculpted in clay, an embodiment of duality and unity, inviting wearers to embrace the journey of creation, where the end and the beginning seamlessly intertwine.
Water served as the key inspiration for the Chambres collection and this project. Our logo, derived from water crystals, symbolizes the eternal loop of nature and the universe, combined with pure form simplicity. Embedded with the symbolism in numbers, the Chambres Ring holds profound meaning:
- 2: Represents balance in duality, co-creation, and kindness.
- 4: Stands for support, stability, and self-care.
- 8: Embodies feminine energy and new beginnings, represented in the eight-pointed star at the heart of our designs. This also signifies the infinite connection between us and the universe.
The end is the beginning. And the beginning is in the end.
Design and Craftsmanship
The Chambres Ring reflects meticulous attention to detail and the vibration of colors that carry deep meaning. We used a glossy emerald green enamel finish to represent heart balance. The base, crafted from natural white clay, symbolizes a fresh start and new beginnings. Finally, the gold detailing represents the Sun, eternally spinning and connecting us to the energy of creation.
